Finally I opened the packaging of the ikea clock I bought 2 months ago..(or more?). At first I wanted to change the face of the clock to a colourful one, then changed my mind to be have a simple one instead. I had accidentally took out the clocks hands and have to fix it back my self. Fiddling for 1 hour, finally it is in a working mode.. I practically opened up the mechanism at the back of the clock and fixed it back again without help of DH! Hahaha!

here is my final project, just to spice up the joy of Time

    DIY THerapy

I always think that DIY (Do-It-Yourself) things around the house do really de-stress us in our busy life. Babies, Work, Family, Housework has taken a big chunk of my life and I want to ‘break-free’.

So I looked around the internet, usually after my girl has gone to bed, to look for great ideas for DIY-ing and I found plenty nice ones especially with lots of beautiful well-taken pictures with brilliant colors. Even if I don’t think I can do those lovely DIY stuffs, looking at the pictures does brighten my mood most of the time.

Here are some of the links

SH finds the wall at our dining area very plain, so I bought this wall stickers from IKEA. I spent around an hour re-arranging the flowers, the leaf and finally the product.. Ta Daa! This is an inexpensive way to add life to the boring walls in the house.

My next project is the wall at my living room, Stay tuned!

    DIY-ing part 2

I finally moved my butt and do something about the untreated picture frames from IKEA. While Chrissy was having a nap, I sat @ my balcony and start wood-staining them (the picture frames). Out of the 9 frames I had bought only 2 can make it…

Only the 2 frames on the left looks nice.. others.. hmm.. i think..

Because my impatience, I did not use the glove and in the end I got some ’souvenirs’  left over in my short nails.

    To be continued…….
