What a week..

This is a very tedious but fulfilling week for me. I tidied SH’s dusty study room, clean the ceiling fan, mop the floor , shower my dog and Chrissy room is starting to take shape as I shifted her bed to the room which need dismantling it and fixing it up! Lucky that I am a hands-on Mummy.

SH left SIN for a week for work and I am alone handling Chrissy and her childcare center hunts. Yes, we are sending her there to have more free time and also let her socialize. The most important thing, I am free for half a day, 5 days in a week which she will starts next Jan.

Almost everynight, I have been looking through the web to look informations on childcare in Singapore , then there is this link I found very useful for me as the prices and their program offering there. If you are looking one particular center, just enter the name of the school or center and voila, the necessary informations will be there, but do remember to call and make appointments to view the center before enrolling your children there.

Felt Food Craze

I am now crazy about kitchen play with my girl after purchasing this eco-friendly kitchen set which my friend is selling. Then to make things more interesting, I made some food out of the felts material that I have left making my clippies.

Though the kitchen set we saw is a NEW item, it had oversold! I can see how many people are willing to pay SGD$178.00 for this toy. Anyway, we do not have space for the toy.. so that’s why I made a portable stove instead. Cheap and good! (above picture).

I was at my ex-colleague’s wedding last week where I was alone struggling with Chrissy in my super high heels. As usual, she wasn’t co-operating with me at the dinner, so I dug out my camera and let her play with it just to keep her quiet at her seat. In the end I was left with many unfocused pictures and MegaBytes of wasted picture files. But I managed to salvaged some pictures which showed my Little Princess’s potential that night.

DIY clock

Finally I opened the packaging of the ikea clock I bought 2 months ago..(or more?). At first I wanted to change the face of the clock to a colourful one, then changed my mind to be have a simple one instead. I had accidentally took out the clocks hands and have to fix it back my self. Fiddling for 1 hour, finally it is in a working mode.. I practically opened up the mechanism at the back of the clock and fixed it back again without help of DH! Hahaha!

Then I must let you guys know something else. I got this plastic earring holder from the $2 dollar shop and I LOVE IT! now my earrings have a place of their own!

I wish I still have a great figure even I have 10 children.

I wish I have a work station that I can do my crafts, Web surfing and playing online games.

I wish I have a talent of learning music…Laallaaa laa more musically inclined.

I wish I have a Signature Meal of my own.

I wish I am more decisive in my simple life.  Yes or No.

I wish I have more time to do my DIYs.

I wish I have more organized of my time between friends, family and myself.

I wish I have the best I can have in my life.

What am I busy with… lately

Well, kinda of lazy to update my blog but busy playing the online puzzle games in Facebook late at night and SH is home most of the weeks as he is on leave again.. and my time is to be with him .. Why not.

So we decided to plan a sort getaway for the next leave. 3 Days 2 Nights is the longest break we can ever get… week long holiday is too luxurious for us now with a toddler in tow. So we have planned to island hop to BINTAN  and we are not going with the kiddo. Just the two of us!

I have realised that if you want to have a $$ worth of package stay at any of the resorts, either in Bintan or  Bali, do consider going to their resort or Hotel website and look up at their promotions packages. Usually transports shuttle between the terminals or ports to the resorts will be arranged accordingly. Nicer suites will be offered and lovely surprise arrangement can be made for your partner. Else, you could also go to the nearest trusty travel agency to look up at travel package Free n Easy.
